Why // 01

Being single shouldn't mean staying in

The Western Cape is full of people who'd rather be out doing something than scrolling on a Saturday.

A festival up the valley, a long-table supper, a wine tasting, a live set or a market wander. Come alone or bring a friend. What grows from there is entirely up to you.

WHERE

The Western Cape

Cape Town, the Winelands, the Overberg, the Garden Route and the West Coast: one province, whether you're going solo or finding your tribe.

HOW OFTEN

One "Must-Do" event a month + weekly pop-ups

A predictable rhythm so it's easy to commit, plus smaller pop-up activities through the week. Quality over volume.

THE MIX

Balanced by activity, not ratio

We don't engineer gender balance — we let the activity set the crowd. Festivals, live music, wine and markets draw different crowds. We alternate on purpose.

Culture // 02

How we roll

A few house rules, so everyone knows the vibe before they show up.

Activity-led, not swipe-led

We lead with the experience (a festival, tasting, supper, market or live set), not the singleness. Some people are here purely to socialise, others are open to more. Both are welcome; you choose what feels right for you.

Come solo, leave with new connections

Most people come alone the first time, locals and visiting travellers alike. Check the organiser details, use Bring someone when you want company, and let the first conversation happen naturally.

A considered community

We keep the next step human: clear expectations, real organisers and respectful introductions. No public invite links, no pressure. Trust is the whole ethos.

No pressure, ever

Always ask before a photo, and let introductions happen in their own time. Good old-fashioned manners. RSVPs are a commitment, but life happens; a heads-up is all we ask.

Regulars // 04

Regular socials

Not one-offs, and not the main event. These are dependable ways to find a room, a table or a familiar face between the bigger dates on the calendar.

Discovery

Freshly spotted around the Cape

New Helderberg finds lead the edit, then we widen the lens across the Cape. These are early signals we're watching; the best of them gets pulled into the calendar above once vetted.
